Legal Alien: A Scotsman in Montreal

Doctor, doctor, gimme the news

As job-hunting is not the easiest game in the world, I am starting to reconsider my previous aversion to doing a PhD... it gives me more experience, makes me more employable, I'd get to travel a lot, and people would call me Dr Berry! heh heh!

First problem: PhDs in astronomy are for scientists not engineers
Second problem: funding
Third problem: i have to wait another year for the programs to start
Fourth problem: where? Abroad would be cool, but it's quickest in the UK; 3 yrs as opposed to 4-5

I've sent out a few feelers and I'll see what they report back to me.
